These photos are of the tube bundles in a 650 ton Evapco fluid cooling tower prior to the installation of the Bon Aqua water treatment system. This tower system was run at 5 cycles of concentration with chemical water treatment. The amount of pre-existing scale deposits is obvious. These scale deposits cause a significant loss of system efficiency.

The same tube bundles six months after the installation of the Bon Aqua water treatment system. Pre-existing scale has been dissolved away resulting in a significant improvement in system efficiency. There has been a 500,000 gallon savings in make-up water and bleed-down discharge, during a 90 day period. This savings in water volume was obtained by increasing the cycles of concentration to 22 cycles, compared with the 5 cycles previously run with chemical treatment.
